I’m a lawyer turned award-winning international photographer. (Yes, you read that right!) I started growing my photography business while in law school.

Even after I graduated, passed the bar, and began practicing law, I found myself being drawn more and more to creating lasting memories for my clients through photography. I couldn’t put my camera down, so after five years of juggling multiple passions, I decided to take a leap of faith and continue working as a lawyer but also turn my photography hobby into a real business so I could continue doing what I love the most.

Since starting Samantha Clarke Photography in 2009, I’ve been blessed to be recognized as one of the best photographers in America by BRIDES Magazine in 2020 and 2021, and I’ve photographed over 250 weddings and portraits commissions across North America, Europe, and the Caribbean! My Canadian roots always bring me back to Toronto at least a few times each year, while I get to enjoy all that the Southern USA has to offer during the spring, fall, and winter months.

More than awards and accolades, I’m also a photography business coach, mentor, and educator for creatives who want to enjoy running their photography business while earning a full-time income.

But my biggest life accomplishment of all? Becoming a mother to my son, Roman. My husband Andre of 10 years is my best friend, my number one cheerleader, and helps me appreciate true love. And our son motivates me every day to pursue this career so I can be a positive role model for him.
